ORGANIZATION

Equity & Inclusion

TASFGA exists because a system that cannot see problems cannot fix them. That principle applies to the field we study and to ourselves.

In the industry

Governance failures fall hardest on owners who already have the least: elderly residents, first-time buyers, non-English-speaking families, and owners in buildings where ownership turnover or under-investment leaves governance weakest. TASFGA's planned standards, research, and advocacy are intended to be written with those owners in mind, not against them.

Inside the organization

TASFGA will recruit board, council, and staff across geography, race, language, age, disability, housing tenure, and professional background — because an accountability body that reflects only one vantage point cannot credibly assess governance. Membership, once launched, will be open to anyone who accepts the Code of Conduct.
